It's a no-go (for now).

Friday: Austen at the DMV. Studying last minute for his permit test. Honestly, he doesn't seem all that enthused about getting his permit. You got to figure. He was 15 1/2 last July and barely started bugging me in October to get his permit. I dragged my feet a bit. Even now, it seems like no big deal to him. Well, your allowed to miss 8 questions on the 40-question test. He missed 11 (his favorite/lucky number). And they were eaaasy ones. Rushing? Just not thinking? I don't know. I did have to giggle later in the day when he was commenting on the number of questions missed and that it was eleven and how "his number" always pops up. Bailey quickly commented, "Don't you wish your favorite number was 3??" Ooohh, good one Bailey!

Note: he will try again in a week. :)

Austen, don't feel bad Your cousin Brandon did the same thing. He's now a full fledged driver.
I also loved Bailey's comment. Cute

I wasn't really interested in getting my license until I was 18, only because of the amount of money it cost! When I got it, it only cost me $25, and I didn't have to take driving school. HAHA. Pretty cool.

Brandon failed his permit test the first time, but the second time he passed it, and now he's a drivin machine :]

Good luck next week Austen! Love you!
