We spent several hours at The Bamert's today to celebrate Mom's 70th birthday and crazy enough ... these are the only photos I took. I know. I'm weird like that. I knew that Tiffany had their new pig for the fair and I told Bailey, let's go take some pictures of the pig. She quickly decided that "no" she really didn't need any pictures of the pig. Haha. She instead decided to take some of their dogs. Perhaps she'll get those posted on her blog? Anyway, we had a wonderful time being with family and eating a delicious mexican meal. Can I just say that Joan makes killer guacamole and the chunkiest, most delicious salsa I think I've ever tasted? I think I could have just eaten that with chips and been perfectly happy. But then Tiffany had to go and make this awesome shredded pork and a very snazzy and flavorful cold rice salad, so we (I) then went overboard on dinner. We're so grateful to have been able to spend time with everyone today.
