that 17 years ago today ... this very special dude came into our lives. On a weird side note, I will always remember Shawn and Nathan hunting around Parkview Hospital for the morgue (yes, leave it to those two to want to see a dead body!) Thankfully, that was early on in my labor, so all was well. Haha.Wow. I'm still trying to figure out how we got so darn lucky?? And what I'd REALLY like to know is: where, oh where, has the time gone? It makes me sad to think that so much time has flown by. I sometimes feel like I blinked and here we are. Mind boggling really. It makes me happy and proud to think about his life so far. And I'm sure Austen's next 17 years will be just as amazing as the first 17. I look forward to seeing what his future holds for him. I'm sure it will be incredible.
